80s Kramer Pacer near me

Post by fourtoos » Sat Dec 09, 2023 5:09 pm

This popped up on FB marketplace close to me for $850 (including OHSC).

Could this hardware be original or a parts mutt? E0751 (not in registry)

Agreed. The more I look at it the cooler it looks. Was just curious if they sold them with gold out of the factory.

Made an offer..fingers crossed...

Dude, the guys that put these guitars together baked several times a day. Gold HAD to look good to somebody at some point. There were more "safety meetings" at the Kramer factory than an OSHA convention! :bong

The answer is yes. Guitars were made with gold hardware. Gold is bitchin. :headbang :thumbs

PS: that's a fine Deluxe. It might be a parts mutt, but so what? It has the nice transition neck and the tuners are least period correct, so why wouldn't the Floyd be as well? The other possibility is it just didn't get recorded in the registry. Regardless, all Kramers are essentially parts mutts. There is no such thing as a number-matching guitar from any brand; it just happens that Kramers are some of the most parted-out, (and sometimes put-back) guitars ever made.

Picking her up tomorrow if no serious issues! :headbang

if the neck is anything like my E-plate baretta naner she will be a keeper. I am digging the gold and red, no baking required :bong

the tuners are usually the tell if it was original. getting the "W" german ones in gold is not exactly an easy task.
