Coincidence, I also need help on that if somebody can help please, I got a NightSwan recently and I cannot adjust the tross rod, I have 3 different hexagon wrenches specifically designed for truss rods and all 3 are too small :/ :/ thank you

I think the OP may have emailed me directly but just to answer here too:

Non-nut models (so NOT like the one posted by 80sChris here) on mine are 5mm hex key. Checked 3 different pointy headstock necks with pyramid logos.

If you have the type with the nut, you need to use a socket instead of a hex key. Not sure what size, I usually pull out a whole set and try until one fits and always forget which one worked.

I have no clue why some just have the female hex side and others have the nut instead though.

I think it’s an 8mm hex box wrench with a short barrel.
I can’t find mine at the moment, but pretty sure that’s what I have.

I found the right size I think (the largest of a set of 3 i ordered, 8mm) but the rod is absolutely not rotating and I am afraid of putting too much strength.. the wrench pops out when i try to force-rotate it, as if not a good grip

Hmmm. I guess you could try 5/16” which would be a very slight bit snugger than 8mm.

WD-40 spray with the extension tip, just a tiny squirt precisely placed and than wait a few hours. Protect the finish around the hole with tape first and do it outside or in the garage.

I'm confused, does OP need the Allen key or socket style? scratch_head
But let's face it, someone buys a Kramer b/c it has a Floyd.
