Less lobster, more hot dog? :whistle

…the variety was the kicker to my analogy, rather than the cuisine, but to each their own. I get where you're going. It's the notes that matter.

That said, even Mexicans get tired of rice and beans (if this sounds racist, that's on you). So in that regard, are we just talking theory here or would an extra couple/few spices in the rack actually arrest anyone's musical career and/or general life enjoyment?

scratch_head shrug

Would an unnecessary eight string really derail anything more than I've helped to do in this thread? Lol.

Sorry AAEA. Figure it's helping exposure to your link if nothing else. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'm not much of a NASCAR fan, either.

24 claw r2, one rare bird. drool Had to send AAEA a message on reverb drooling. I really like the Glock 24 as well. Love to have either in my hand.

Do you have a shop out there AAEA? I grew up in Encino, used to go to the cobalt cafe a lot in the late 90’s early 00’s. My uncle still owns a home by the Lowe’s in Canoga I visit. Did a year at Columbus MS and Canoga HS before moving to Las Vegas.

I love this quote "I have plenty of guitars, selling 20 or so isn't gonna hurt too much."

So f****** awesome! Just puts a huge smile on my face. :headbang

This is my problem. I have lots of nice guitars but in an effort to not “use them up” I play my beaters/average guitars most of the time.

And I spend more time shopping, collecting, cleaning, repairing etc than I do playing.

Trying to find the right balance moving forward. I’ve already made my way though selling a lot of guitars earlier this year and more to come later. I’ve gotten much more interested in amps lately but even some of those will have to go soon. I kind of miss the days when all I had was one Pacer and my Marshall TSL. I played more, worked around the limitations of my equipment, instead of taking the easy way out, and I was a much better musician for it. I learned more and sounded better in that two year period than I have learned in the last decade since then…

Exactly what I meant above :headbang It was more about music and less about gear.

Nahh....quarter-mile is more fun. NASCAR is all "drive fast, turn left"....the winner is the one that drives faster & turns lefter.
