Kramer Bluesbreaker?

Post by killdos » Sat Sep 16, 2023 8:47 am

They told me this is bluesbreaker but I'm not sure. At least I couldn't find this on catalogues. Please help to identify.

I'm not an expert in these, but it's definitely a JDM model. Maybe a Bluesbreaker 308 with a single added + mini switch?

Looks cool either way!

Yep it is, though I think this is the later model from the SK series because of the Takeuchi trem. Budget japanese version of the Stagemaster, inferior pickups, trem and woods but still quite a usable guitar. I owned one and sold it because even after upgrading *everything*, the tone wasn't even close to a Stagey. Kinda like Focus vs. Pacer, only in neck-through. IMO not worth much more than a Focus either.

They changed the pickup configs and trems constantly, so it's hard to tell which year etc.

Obviously this one has a Takeuchi trem, not a real Floyd.

Later they called them SK-series, the number being the number of pickups obviously:

It's a neck-through, what neck pocket are you talking about? Or do you mean neck pickup route?

They're 25.5" scale.
