Funny. I have a set laying around and I have never found a guitar I wanted to put them on. Good call.

Anyone got a good looking Floyd Rose 1000 Korean Original they want to sell.
I like the guitar. I just have too many vintage Kramers to build and use my vintage good Floyd Rose trems on.

It took some time to get a blue color that I liked to paint the headstock with. I have let the paint cure for about a week. I lightly level sanded it today. Then put on the first UV clear coat. I am really happy with it. I took a pic to see if I liked it and I do. So the next step is to level sand the clear coat and then I will install the inlay. After that I will put on another thick clear coat.
In these pic's you can see I have shaped the end of the fret board and the neck and body have been shaped and mated.

I really like this build. It is a custom body, custom artwork, modified neck. The body has never been assembled into a guitar. The neck came from a one year only model Fender but was modified (badly) to be 22 fret from an original 24 fret by the previous owner. That is why I needed to repair it.

My question for people is this. Kramer, Buddy Blaze, and many countless other luthier/builders/companies have in the past put their names on guitars they built from parts made and sourced by other people.

I would like to know your opinions on me putting my name on this build. I plan on completely giving the body artist, and inlay maker their due credit. I am not trying to hide anything.

I believe your neck originally came from a Fender Squire Stagemaster.

I think you are close. I believe it came off a 2003-2005 Fenders Squier Showmaster. They were only made for this very short time.
It is a good neck and the inlays look really good. The prior person hacked the last 2 frets off it to make it work with the 85 Baretta body.
Since I am restoring the Baretta. I might as well use the neck for something.

To answer your question - I say by all means put your name of it. It’s your build - your creation. :thumbs

Koenig slapped their name all over hundreds of Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s that they fine tuned and modified through the 80’s and 90’s.

What logo do you have in mind? Figuring that stuff out is part of the fun of building for me. It took me a few years to settle on the Kramer based MM pyramid font for my headstocks.
