My first thought was, don't hack into that for a floyd. Does look good, Sergej, gotta make it your own. I woulda kept it stock. They're great guitars. Enjoy Brother! :toast
Get it back to good.

Very nice work. :thumbs

How did the rear route turn out? Any tear out or chips in the finish? That’s always my greatest fear when cutting into a finished body. :chainsaw

Any difference in sound once you installed the Floyd?

Nope, looks very clean. Guess it's up to the quality of the router. One unrelated issue - I wanted the vertical route a bit angled to match the trem angle, so the corner of the route reached the edge of the electronics cavity due to those few mm extra. Don't have a spring cavity cover, but if I did, I'd have to trim the corner a bit. I'll post a pic later.

Also got a replacement brushed alu electronics cavity cover from Dave (@fretsonthenet) which fits perfectly.

@darrend, I actually expected the floyd to sound more treble-heavy but it actually sounds identical. Didn't lose anything and no change of character either, same sustain and all.
