Here's the case it came with:

I like the case a lot, although its not the best. The hinges are very worn out and the guitar itself fits well but the fit isn't snug enough imo.

Also a general question, do we know roughly how many original Nightswans were made back in the day? Can't seem to find any info on this.

The black one had actually been posted on this forum before, but I cannot find the thread now. It was an auction, it was worn and the serial number had been sanded down as well as the headstock break by the low e tuner. The seller took the ad down the same evening I had been to look at it, either he sold it, or he decided to keep it. I think the latter might be true as he did mention he wasn't a hundred percent on selling it when I was there.Takemebackto84 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 3:01 pm Does this leave a black one up for grabs somewhere now !
I've heard switching places of the pickups is a very popular modification, have you tried this?

What kind of improvement have you noticed?
Not far from me one guy sells TB-10. I’d like to try
It instead of stock SH-10 on my Swan. The only question is, if the possible changes worthy 100 bucks ;))

To me it is a vast improvement because the strings are correctly over the pole pieces and in the magnetic field. So better volume, better sustain, better everything. Think of it like trying to sing from the side of a microphone, then singing in front of it correctly.
It is simple. There was never a pickup designed so that it sounded best when the string vibrates off to the side of the pole piece and magnetic field. It is supposed to be over the pole piece. I am not talking about rail pickups.
It is just my opinion that a Trembucker is a giant improvement for any Kramer model that has a straight bridge pickup.
You will hear it. It will be substantial.

Thanks a lot for the comprehensive answer!SWANTECH wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 10:34 amTo me it is a vast improvement because the strings are correctly over the pole pieces and in the magnetic field. So, it’s settled! Good Sound costs more than 100 bucks! :)

In these pic's you can see how the strings line up with the trembucker versions of a Full Shred and JB. I believe they are JB Trembuckers on my reissue, but I forget.
These are my originals. Sparkle Blue, and the Duckling. I saved the originals from the Sparkle but I never had the originals from the Duckling. I think the Duckling might have a standard JB now that I look at it.
