The body is solid. Could it be that these guitars were shipped disassembled and some sold at the closing sale were hybrids? I understand that Kramer was wildly inconsistent, especially at the end. Oh yeah, I paid $100 for it!!

No. Not likely. You are looking too hard into it. It is a hundred series with the wrong cover.
No other mystery needs to be applied.

No thanks to everyone who perpetrates the trope of "Kramer being Kramer." Now everyone with a non-stock guitar is assured that it's legit and probably a 1 of 1 custom build by Gary himself before he left the company.

Well thank you Kramer peeps. I think I’ve got Kramer 220 with a weird, factory installed truss rod cover. Now it goes on Reverb for $2999!

The lower horn always a give away on non focus/american models, IE: kicked out farther on strikers or junk kramers
