NGD & NBD

Post by RatDog8o8 » Fri Mar 17, 2023 5:44 pm

Today I received the two newest members of my "herd", which brings my Kramer total to 5 (total of 42 all together).

Both from eBay.

First up, a 2000 Striker FR422SM. It came with a TKL case, but it was basically destroyed by the time it got to me. The guitar was perfectly fine, which was the important part. I can build a good case for it, way better than the TKL (I've had TKL gig bags tougher than this case was). The seller was a pawn shop in Texas. Only thing missing was the trem arm & the allen wrenches; both easy finds. Serial number S00090061.

Next, a 2021 D-1 Disciple. No case, but the factory Kramer box & all the case-candy. Brand new, or nearly so - all the plastic film is on the rear covers & the tuners. Serial number 21122906269.

I need to get more stands.

Congrats!

That striker looks darn clean for a 23 yo guitar.

How does the bass sound?? Some nice features there.

You should post some of your others in the "Other Kool Guitars" section. Is that an Ace Frehley Washburn AF-40V on the left there? Another Washburn on the right? Lots of Jackson fans here as well! Let's see 'em all!! :toast :thumbs
Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave...

Yes, that is an AF-40v; the other Washburn is an RR40. Both are 1987s. I need to get busy and take some good photos of everything.

Thank you. I was surprised at how clean it was. Just a very few scuffs on the back just below the neckplate, and those will polish out. I've got to do some cleaning & re-arranging in my "guitar room" so I can get to the amps. I need a bigger room to go with more stands.
