Yeah, no kidding. I'll admit, it's not a horrible unit, but it's tough to find parts and if you do they are not cheap.

They're not *that* bad when you set them up correctly, but they just feel much worse than a floyd. And it's a PITA to lock the high e string, slips out easily.
The 2700 "Killer" model was awesome though. If it wasn't for that heavy arm, it would be the best trem ever IMO:

100% agree. They are a PITA and the Floyd's are much better. I'm sure I bought that trem purely because it was cheap at the time. early 90's, I was still in high school.

Fake serial number. The whole guitar is refinished in a different color and they just stenciled that number on. Any real serial number it may have had is hidden underneath that black paint, or more than likely sanded off never to be seen again.
