I have the wiring diagram and am fairly handy with a soldering gun. Does the arrow on the black single coil wires mean that they are not connected? Thanks!

Wiring for the “guitar the kramerforumz built”
I am finally moving forward in assembling my Pacer Custom I after collecting all the parts with many coming from wonderful forum members here. Neck from 2112, body from LHKramer, pickup and backplate from Dirty D, plus assistance in finding the other parts by others here.
I have the wiring diagram and am fairly handy with a soldering gun. Does the arrow on the black single coil wires mean that they are not connected? Thanks!

Those would go to ground 
Edit: Ground them to whatever you'd like (ex. pot housing)

Just make sure all your grounds are connected to the output jack sleeve terminal.
But let's face it, someone buys a Kramer b/c it has a Floyd.
