Help Me Fix this Nanner!
Re: Help Me Fix this Nanner!
I've gone through this before. It sucks. I sent mine off to the goat farmer after I separated the headstock and he fixed it up. It was a maple r2 so I felt it was worth fixing. I don't want to be rude, but I wouldn't have sent it to Vinnie if it wasn't an r2 maple board. It's not just a matter of gluing it back together - you probably also need some fret work after your done.

Where is the best place to get the highest quality headstock decal for this?

More questions...what is this little notch at the tip of the fretboard? Where exactly should the front end of this fretboard sit when it’s glued on properly? It appears to be slightly overhanging into the notched area a bit currently, I’m not sure if that happened at some point from the glue weakening and allowing movement or what. Should the board cover that notch? Or leave it completely open and uncovered?

The FB and nut shelf would need to be lined up.
But let's face it, someone buys a Kramer b/c it has a Floyd.

Ok, got the board off. Now how do I remove the headstock from the shaft wood? So tgat I can clean up and fix the scarf joint?

Whoever did the previous repair pushed the headstock too far inside. There should be no notch, that edge should line up exactly with the fretboard wood.
