The cheap Baretta has arrived!

The neck on this thing feels absolutely fantastic. The guitar is also very resonant and light, so I'm guessing not maple body. As someone pointed out in the "on ebay and elsewhere" thread I posted, the Floyd is slightly off on the treble side. Is currently at my tech and he said its not off enough to cause an issue and recommended not doweling and redialing. Whats strange is looks like whoever did it did a great job and installed the bushing style posts right in the original locations? Maybe off from the factory? Also, someone did route the term cutout under the Floyd a bit but looks very cleanly done, not done with a chisel like some Ive seen lol. You cant see it from the front so it won't bother me
It came in a bit better condition than I thought but still has some dings here and there and also had the original case Only thing Im trying to track down is an original JBJ or a Schaller golden 50. Some of the guys on the FB group said that the custom order plate Barettas would've had the JB. IM no expert so Im just going by what everyone is telling me.
All in all, WELL worth the $650, I really love the feel of the neck on this<blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="idMWP49"><a href=" post on imgur.com</a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

That's a steal. Love that headstock look. This looks like what those '85 reissues were based on almost, candy red, matching headstock - but the original is always better. :thumbs

Same decal on the black custom shops which made the logo look completely different when the black blended in.

Got it back from my tech today with a clean bill of health. Plays like an absolute monster. Tracked down an original 80s JBJ for cheap last week as well to put back in, its crazy what those are fetching now. Unfortunately not a zebra but whatever, this is a budget Retta lol. Sounds YUGE though the SLO
