Could this be a EVH Kramer neck? LOL.

LOL.
Well I don't exactly know what this POS mystery neck is? I guess I will find out because I bought it for $25.00. The shipping costs almost as much as the neck. I am in it for $45.00. A little less than $51.50 so it's a deal. It was listed on the bay as a Kramer style guitar neck.

It kind of looks like a 1985 Kramer Banana neck. It is date stamped like some I have seen. The truss rod route, inlays, fret board, questionable scarf joint, and what is left of the head stock looks like an 85. Looks like it could be a 1985 painted and heavily circumcised.
I might have to ask Phil Unker, like that other clown. LOL.

Here are some pic's folks. Let me know what you think. Kramer 85 Banana or EVH made it.

I will wait the customary 20 minutes before I go full delusion and believe EVH made it while Val gave him a handjob.

Crazy how the frets barely show any signs of use, but it's obviously been through hell.

Well at least it isn't a Full Club. LOL.
I will try to lightly sand back the paint on the head stock to investigate if there is any old paint or logo under it. I will also see if the mounting holes align with a 85 custom neck plate I have. If it is a 1985 Kramer neck. It may be like others I have owned that have a glue joint on the left side of the high E string. In which case I will just cut it back at that joint and make a new piece.

I have a few 1985 Barettas still hanging around to try and authenticate it. As well as make a head stock template from.

I was thinking the same thing? Really not any wear at all on the fret board. I am not complaining. If I don't have to re-fret it that would be cool.

Side note. If it comes with the chrome R5 or R2 FR nut that alone is worth the price of admission.

If it has a glue joint. Which it should. I will cut back to the glue joint. Then make a new piece. Not going to add from where it is now.

Dang it!
The seller says they shipped it UPS but accidentally dropped it off at USPS. They told me USPS said they gave it to the UPS people. Tracking number says only a label was created. So now I am getting a refund instead of a neck. FU!@.
I would rather have the neck. Maybe it will show up in the next week. I can only hope. Probably was an easy grab for an employee.

if I ever get it. I will update this thread. I was looking forward to the mystery.

As an interesting side note, that delusional Kloun dude finally broke down and accepted the fact it wasn't Ed's on the Tele forum. You have to check it out to see it unfold. It's pretty funny. Someone from this forum (I assume) made a post describing in full detail and countered ever delusional detail he had (even more to what we already did, which is saying a lot). He was trapped with no way out. I didn't think it was possible with how delusional he was.

After the thread here got locked, he continued his madness on the Tele forum, to even concluding the humbucker was a real patent sticker from a Les Paul and the single-coil from a pre-CBS strat. That's when the Tele guys started to get annoyed with him. It was wild and honestly, at that point, pure entertainment because he was dead serious. I truly think he has some type of mental issue (manic bipolar or something).

With that being said, this neck is definitely one of Ed's. It was obviously broken off at the tip so Paul Unkert could glue it later with epoxy, maybe with an additional 7th tuner hole. It's also beat up, so Ed obviously used it on tour right next to his 5150. :roll
