Original was 87ish to indicate a real FR from the overseas copies.

Article states after Neptune closed but I've read somewhere it was after the cheap copies started showing up on various makes.
But let's face it, someone buys a Kramer b/c it has a Floyd.

Most factory floyds don't have the "original" stamp, but yeah they started showing up from what I've seen like late '89 or early 90s and ended up on a couple of really late Kramers (or sometimes ones assembled post-firesale)

I bought a bran new Floyd Rose in the Kramer box in “87-88” and it have the “Original” on it..
