Discussion about the newer Kramer Guitars by the Gibson Guitar Corporation
I have dealt with Kevin when they "digitized" my Stagemaster. He was a hell of a guy and I knew immediately how bad their hands were tied trying to resurrect the Kramer brand. Hell of a bass player and an even better guy.DoctorScary wrote:If any of you guys have ever worked retail or even maybe for a larger coroperation then you'll understand this.
The only dude working there that was in charge and PRO Kramer was Kevin Bebout. He left to play with Jasmine Cain. Now that he's gone he will not be replaced. When a spot like that is vacant a corporation will not fill it because the cost to train a new employee is OUTRAGEOUS. Payroll is the number one controllable expense for a business. So what I figure they will do is probably just try to get by with it with current staffing. Problem there is that the replacement won't and can't care near as much as Kevin did. That is why you're seeing no activity. It doesn't mean that Kramer is done. I actually wanted the job and asked to apply and I was told that they were not filling the spot.
Get it back to good.
If you didn't get it, then nobody would. This leads me to ask, are you still an endorsed artist or don't you have that status anymore? Another thing, your font color makes it hard for my old eyes to read your responses. Not sure if anyone else has this problem.DoctorScary wrote:....I actually wanted the job and asked to apply and I was told that they were not filling the spot.
I strum, therefore, I can't shred!
