Mmm ok, this one is not a new event in fact.
But today I achieved the built with the electronic and trem cover manufacture. That why I figure to show here.
Lefties will hate me.
Got this lefty pointy R5 from a forum member (Liammaru) on the old KF years ago (at this time I didn't found righty and the price was fair, so I gave a try to it).
The body was NOS from larryfirefighter or something. Amazing you will notice electronic cavity triangular shape: a kind of unusual.
The neck pocket cavity has been machined to accomodate the huge R5 pointy fitment: now it's nice and tight. Holes for back covers wasn't drilled when it came.
Regular chrome Floyd.
For the pickups I went Alnico II: PATB-1J for the neck and TB-11J for the bridge: this combination is a very good surprise for me. Dunno why really but it is probably the best sounding axe I have (and I have some). Even with the clean as for the distorted channel it always sounds monster.

Beautiful, I love it! Cool to see how you used a lefty neck for a righty build, as I have access to some lefty sustainer necks and would like to use some of them for righty builds.

I was wondering if it would look strange to have the logo upside down, but on your build, it does not bother me. I think the reverse HS looks cool on a Vanguard, since I'm not aware that Kramer ever did reverse HS for Rhodes-style Vs, although Jackson seems to do this often. I always wondered what that would look like on a Vanguard.

Question: Did you have to change or modify the holes for mounting the Floyd Rose nut? A recent thread here provided information about those holes being drilled slightly off-center toward the high E side when the guitars come from the factory, so I'm wondering when you flipped your neck around, were you able to use the same holes, or what were you required to do to make it work? Thanks so much.

Thanks you bros :)
@Doc, yes nut holes are slightly uncentered so that R and L nuts are not fully interchangeable without considering few work before. In this case I had to slightly elongate holes (of 0.5 mm at a maximum) to fit R5 aligned with the fretboard. I didn't need to elongate the countersink holes. At the end not a job that ruined the neck.
