Kramer Focus 2000

Post by gtrjunior » Sun Sep 16, 2018 3:51 pm

A few weeks ago I purchased a Focus 2000 from forum bro @Doc.
I went through it, not that it needed much since it was in great shape to begin with. (thanks Doc!!)

I basically gutted the electronics and replaced the pots with CTS and a switchcraft jack.

Fokin pickups were ordered and installed.
I disassembled the Floyd and cleaned it up nice, nice. Added a D-Tuna and a set of Hollow points as well as a 42mm sustain block.

I took it to my local shop for the final setup.

There is a youtube link at the bottom of my post. Just a short clip of me noodling this afternoon. You can hear them for yourself and tell me what you think.

Good looking guitar and thumbs up on the upgrades!
P.S. - I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't resist pinch harmonics while I'm noodling! :headbang
