Craig Goldy playing a Kramer

Post by Sirion » Mon Oct 07, 2019 6:56 am

Now this is kool!

I've never before seen Craig Goldy with a Kramer. Looks like a 1987 flourescent pink Pacer with a recessed Floyd, but not a rectangular 12th fret marker. I had no idea Goldy ever played Kramers. For some reason, there seems to be a dearth of Dio videos from the Dream Evil era, which is a real pity. To my ears it is the last classic Dio album, and more than worthy of following the preceding three. Now, if the Dio estate could only have some videos from this era mastered and released…

Back on topic, do we know anything about this guitar, or Goldy's relations (if any) with Kramer?
No longer looking for a late-era Baretta I body (with double scooped lower horn).

Pretty sweet. Always liked Craig Goldy.

LOVED Ronnie James Dio. RIP.

You have good taste.
Goldy was pictured in that video with a white strat also.
Interesting the early Glam era !! Goldy played a cool variety of axes during the whole Giuffria time too and used the Floyd like crazy.

It seems nobody knows anything about this guitar, judging from the response here and on FB so far. Since Craig is pretty active there, I have sent him a line; let us see if he responds.
