Same here. Many of the factory presets are already really good and not completely ruined by an overabundance of effects. Just fun to play through.
Practice cures most tone issues.

Man that was really good. Cool verses with mix of hard and mellow and the chorus way very catchy. Loved the wah work and with it mixed in with the dual guitar and single guitar solos
