Hi guys! Thank you for talking me out of my occasional "idea" to build my own guitar :roll

I'm many things, but a painter i am NOT, except maybe with a roller and some drywall. I don't have even an iota of the required patience for this kind of project!

It’s all in the setup and details. Actual application is a very small part. A clean spray booth, ventilation and humidity control, pure, compressed air, a clean Gun are all critical, and then there’s the prep on the body itself. To do it right, you’d have to invest way more than the body turns out being worth. Take it to a shop and don’t give it a second thought!

These were all done with spray cans and Stewmac ColorTone modern clear gloss Nitro guitar lacquer - in my guitar shop. And I don't have a spray booth or painting equipment. So it is possible to get pretty close to a factory finish if you have the time to put into hours and hours of wet sanding.
