I’ve got the pitch shifter on my Ibby.
Works as advertised.
A while back I put the locks on my Kramer but the strings kept slipping.
That said I didn’t replace the stock nut base with the nut base that comes with the locks. I need to do that before I pass judgement.
I contacted Mark about it and he was super responsive with trying to help me sort it out. Great customer service on his end.
But like I said, I need to tinker with it a little more.

Whenever someone is trying to improve an already perfect thing it looks very inelegant and makes the whole thing cumbersome.

Goes to show that the 35+ year old concept still is THE thing for double locking tremolo systems. Add an EVH D-Tuna if you wish but even that is a compromise shrug .
Practice cures most tone issues.

Bill Edwards had started producing FingerTite locknuts again... Not to be confused with the Schaller abominations (as well as all the other copycats.) I ordered one not too long ago and they work great. Even on a NFT Floyd they work well and don't cause the guitar to go out of tune.

Nice! Always loved those. Though $80 is a bit much, but still bearable.

I think it's a good price considering how good they work. The retrofit kit is a bit cheaper, and that's what I got. And it doesn't look like that monstrosity above (and probably a lot faster to operate.)

The upgrade kit looks similar to the part in the title, still way too high. I think one couldn't even use a regular case with those on.
