You´ll find a lot of them with Rusty on FB. Maybe he chimes in here at some point.
Practice cures most tone issues.

They've been all over Craigslist the past two years. You'd better act quick or somebody will beat you to it.
I strum, therefore, I can't shred!
Re: O Spectors where art thou??
I was really just hoping Rusty would turn up. I'm not in the market myself, but they are still nice to look at, especially such a nice collection.

O Spectors where art thou??
i have been looking for a Spector latley.....there are a few guitars on Reverb....

My friend has a nice-looking Spector bass at his shop. I believe it's flame-top trans dark cherry burst with gold hardware if I recall, but could be misremembering that. Pretty sure I recall it is a 5-string. I can take a pic next time I'm over there if anybody is interested.
I don't know anything about these, but I think I understand production moved around a bit, some were USA, some were overseas, at some point they were affiliated with Kramer somehow, but then they were not? Does anybody know a source for educating myself about these, especially how to tell which serial numbers are the desirable ones?
Also, not sure what they would typically go for? This is NOT a "tell me what my Kramer is worth so I can sell it" question. It's more like if I come across one locally, I would want to have an idea if it might be a good value to consider purchasing.
