Love and Passion, are the most important tools to have in the tool box....you have them both (powerful stuff)!! I admire your "fearlessness", as I'm still not ready to take on projects of this kind.

BTW, its going to be badass when finished...and like you, looking forward to the end game Bro. :headbang :toast :thumbs

^^Thank you, Ralph. Not sure if it's all passion cause there's plain hardheadedness in there too.

Just a little sneak peek:

Those Lace pups look good on it. Will you use a black pup ring and pot caps too, or do you want to keep this black/white combo? IMO black on yellow looks sexier.

For me the white plastics are unexpected and sorta catchy, reminds me of the funky color combos they sometimes used on the Elliot Easton guitars. Curious what the extra holes are for?

I am going to stick with the white highlights. Yes Sergej black on yellow is sexy, but my tastes right now are more towards redneck gals (I kinda like em). They may dress a bit less elegantly but they are still sexy! :mrgreen

Doc, the holes are just as they were when I got the beavered body with one exception: I had to enlarge one to place a tone pot and I chose the middle hole. Now, the two small holes on either side of the tone knob will be filled with a ON/ON miniswitch on one side and a ON/ON/ON for the other. The 3-way for pickup selection and the 2-way for coil splitting.

Still need the remaining electronics including switches. I will finish the maple board with a urethane soon, then do the final fret polishing afterwards.
