I noticed you have no pickup rings and your pickups are bolted directly to the body. Was that an option when these came out? I can't really remember the details from back then.

No. I bought the bodies and necks from the company in Memphis or Nashville that was making them for Gibson. I'm not a big fan of pickup rings, or spinner rims, for that matter, so whenever possible, I leave them off. Since the screw holes weren't drilled yet, I left them off. Whenever I see one with pickup rings, it looks weird.
