KF ADMIN, understand about pix posting limitations, no worries on my end. I'll find a cloud somewhere to store some pix.
BTW, I've done that when I was a wee lad (butter knife in the wall socket) ....lotsa sparks, a bit of smoke and a pair of wet drawers.

Welcome aboard. Nice looking 6K there.

With an account on any pic-platform you can easily post pics here. Just copy the share-link there and paste it here between the "Img" brackets and you´re good to go :thumbs .

The Lockmeisters are pretty hard to find in the US and more expensive there from what I´ve seen so far. You should be able to score a nice 80s OFR on the bay or in some classifieds for a better price and then you´d have the real deal.

You can try tinypic.com, no need for an account there, it's free for all.

Just installed a wooden block in front of the FR. Tuning while floating was impossible with this korean FR. We'll see how this works. Considered some sort of gizmo you can install/make and opted for keeping it simple.
Also hard mounted the HB. It was very bouncy with the springs/traditional mounting. No change cosmetically.
Is there any significant reason to determine year of manufacture? 1986 as opposed to 1988, for example? As the owner of an old strat, this is an important line of inquiry.

Same goes for Strats and Lesters - not that there´d be any comparable pedigree in certain years for Kramer than there are for the other two :roll .

Now, with the wooden block and a set of 10 -48's, this 6k plays and sounds fantastic!
Dare I say that I am now "casually" looking for a white 1k?
