I bought that guitar on 9/04/17 off of Reverb from a guy named Jason's gear emporium.
It took a month to get because he lived on Marco Island Florida and USPS did not ship it before a Hurricane hit South Florida. I was trying to be very understanding since they got hit hard by the storm.
The pic's I saw, showed No break, when it was listed. Due to clevor picture angles. There was no actual picture taken of that area.
When I got it I was kind of pissed off.
I waited patiently due to the storm. Then it arrives with the break.
It looked like it was repaired but that was not the point.

My guess was that Jason got it from the Netherlands. When it arrived it was broken. He did a claim. Got the guitar for free, repaired it, and then resold it to me. Not disclosing the break in the headstock.
The pic's of it from the Netherlands I saw on google images were not real great.
I did not feel it was worth $850.00 plus shipping with that break.
So I called Reverb support.
They refunded my money. Then had me ship the guitar to Reverb on their dime.
I told them I would buy it for $500.00, but they said no.
Then Reverb/Chicago Music Exchang listed it for $750.00 IIRC.
It sold.
Now I see it again.
That yellow is BRIGHT YELLOW.
I am a Luthier/guitar tech. All I can say is that I would have done a much better job repairing it.
How good it was repaired is anyones guess.

So here is what I know:

Time line:

(pre 2017 guitar lived in Netherlands)

Sold to Jason's Gear Emporium 8/03/2017
($974.90 + $89.99 SH)

Sold to SWANTECH 9/04/17
($875.00 + $50.00 SH)

Insurance sale to Reverb's Garage Sale 9/--/2017

sold to Dave's Guitar Shop 10/12/2017
($512.10 + Free SH)

sold to Chris 3/--/2018
($650 + ??? SH)

Due to the time period I am not sure if Jason could have fixed the neck in 1 month especially if he posted it as soon as it showed up.

Pretty cool that you were able to trace this down in such details.

It’s like a guitar carfax haha. Such a shame about the damage, I haven’t seen many beaks with damage like that (compared to pointy’s that get it pretty frequently)

lol, well its mine now. I've taken the proper measure to insure the fix is quality, can only see the slightest line but I don't want to do a refin on the whole neck.
