Well Christian, after some more detective work (consulting with Vinny), it would appear that this cannot be a prototype as they were all light bodies & would have a serial number, this is a heavy chunk of maple & there's no serial number on the plate
Best guess is..........it was built from all the correct parts in the custom shop at the time by Billy Conelly but never officially sold by Kramer
So that makes it kinda a back door "Bootleg" Grail
Whatever, it's a cool axe for the collection & is certainly the closest thing to a "Grail" without officially being one
