My six month vacation started last week. This one has been sitting for quite a while, so I'm getting back at it. Imperialized Sustainer with reverse neck. Added a couple holoflash racing stripes, so it will appear that I'm playing faster. Installing EMGs in it, OFR, Schallers, blah, blah, blah

Wondering if you would be willing to share how you got such nice clean edges on your holoflash stripes. I've been thinking of some geometric patterns that would look cool if rendered in holoflash, and I've got an idea in mind about how I would try to pull it off, but my imagined technique is unproven at this point. Might be safer and better of course to use a technique that is proven, and yours looks great!
Thanks!

the last thing you want to do when it comes to holoflash is take my advice. I watched videos, read directions, ect. My first attempt was horrible. I cut the strips, and 'installed' it. Not only did it look like shit because I didn't flip the flash every once in a while, but apparently I messed up the clear on the guitar. I didn't have the iron up high at all, but something went wrong. I spoke to the man of many goats, and we decided I dodn't use thick enough paper between the iron and the body. I wetsanded everything off, and did it again. This time, I taped off the lines with blue tape. It still messed with the finish, and I had to do some wet sanding and hand buffing. You can see that the thin black line between the flash still looks like crap, but you have to be looking for it.
