Two days, two new guitars. I couldn't resist this one when I saw it. It's an F-plate Pacer Custom 1 with a claw neck... which I've wanted for many years and have never had before. It is a bit thicker than my other pointy necks, but I really like the binding.

Haven't had a chance to see what pups were in it, but I'm pretty sure it's just the stock JB.

Interestingly, the previous owner added 3 more mini-toggles (as if the stock 4 mini-toggles weren't enough already?). Luckily, it isn't a hack job and the toggles actually line up exactly with the original ones so it looks very clean.

The 3 new switches are phase switches for each individual pickup. Can make some weird sounds with this, but probably not all that useful. Fun for experimenting though. This would be a good guitar to put a neck/middle mini-humbuckers on, then have coil taps for each pickup individually maybe, idk.

Nice but too many knobs.

Thanks! Now that I've had some time to really play it, I lowered the action a little and the fretboard radius definitely seems flatter than my other block-logo pointy's. It's kind of displaced my large-bodied Custom II, I definitely like the look and feel of this 7/8 type body more than that one. It is a little thinner sounding though, but not horribly so.

I've had a couple of the 7/8 and they're definitely comfortable. I liked the Big Body ones too though.
