Hello. First post.

I just picked up this neck. I'm a long time guitar collector, but a Kramer novice.

This all looks vintage correct to me, but have you guys ever seen a Kramer neck with a truss rod anchor in the heel like this?

I'm a beginner on the Sports / Lasido possibilities. Or do you think this was a later truss repair / replacement? Or is the whole neck fake entirely?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Totally legit. :thumbs
Nana transistional (tranny) neck. Note the splice between the nut & low E tuner.
Welcome.

Thank you. Who would have been the manufacturer of this neck? There is no date or any mark on the end.

Is it accurate to say that only ESP made skunk stripe necks, and that Sports and Lasido never did?

I'm going to post this on the FB group too and see what they think as well.

Thanks.

As far as I know ESP made these from beak neck blanks with an extra piece of wood added behind the headstock area. I don't recall a LaSiDo neck with a skunk stripe.

While we're at it, were the one-piece nanners with R5 and block logo also ESP-made? I regret selling my blue Imp with that neck...

If somebody is interested in an R5 banana Carrera, I might know a guy...

I actually have the entire rest of the guitar (Imperial) if anybody wanted to take it on as a project. It's not the body that the neck is currently attached to as shown in pic, but rather it's a proper original Imperial Carrera, fully intact and excellent condition. I was getting ready to offer it up, so I'll just start another thread. My apologies for the hijack.
