Two of these popped up on eBay. Made an offer on the blue one and it sold. Made an offer on this one and got it. KramerRoy saw it and says it looks like the bodies that came out of Neptune in the late 80s. It would not bother me if it was a Focus 6000 body but I would like the experts opinions here.

What I plan on it looking like down the road except for a maple lefty board (if I ever find one) and gold hardware.

With that floyd stabilizer thingy routing, should be USA - I know of no Foci with that feature.

Sweet find man!!

yea urs is a usa body,i just picked up this 1986 pacer custom, then u get custom 1 and then custom 2. id bet urs is a custom 2 they had the slide switch and either blower switch or split coil.
.
mine has the 3 toggles for pups and blower switch for straight to lead or rythmn without effectting the other pup settings.

gonna look sweet with my lefty bound american neck.

Oooowweeee that's a sexy southpaw body in red. Just to add to the other American vs. Focus observations, the diameter of the hole for the jack is almost always smaller than that of the Focci. I noticed right away that your body appeared ready for the barrel jack as opposed to the larger Japan versions which they always covered with a rectangular jack plate.

Large soloist body, partial recess of the trem route and no scoop in the lower horn - all original about 87/88, shortly before the smaller "dinky" bodies.
Nice :mrgreen

Is this one of the 24 fret Pacers that were never released? (I have THREE of them) Notice that the "shelf" that the bridge mounting screws are attached are just recessed a little bit – not nearly as much as the rest of the recess. I don't think I've seen that on any of the 22 fret models?
