Greetings!

I'm beginning the initial stages of restoring an old Musicyo Kramer FR422 (Reverse Headstock) that I've had for a long time, and haven't used. I've never done a restoration project like this before, and I am in need of some help.

Lord willing, if all goes as planned, I'd like to post my project here as it goes along--hopefully, this will help someone else who is doing the same thing.

The first thing I need to do on this guitar is replace the locking nut which I accidentally destroyed years ago. I think it's a standard 1 5/8" size locking nut, but I'm not sure.

Can someone tell me what the measurements for the locking nut on a FR 422 are?

Thank you in advance!
-Jerry

Welcome.
We do enjoy pics of repairs/restos.

Check here. Says 1.625" nut width. R2.

Hey, thank you for the information--I really appreciate it!

Yes, once I have all of the parts/supplies gathered and I start the process, I'll put up pictures to document the progress.

Thanks again!
