…but I'll post it here for now, since the thing got some attention here and probably raised the blood pressure average around here a fair bit.

Some of you may remember this dolorous thread:

http://kramerforumz.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=85

As it turns out, I just acquired the body a few hours ago. A couple of snipers hitched up the prize considerably, but I am in any case in the possession of the body, it'll be fun to take on something rather unusual. It will be heading to Aotearoa aka The Shaky Isles aka New Zealand soon.

Whilst the rest of the parts are long gone I shall do what I can to rebuild the guitar as thoroughly as possible. This is my first attempt at such a thing so I am sure that I will be needing help from you guys. It will be a mutt but it will be as proper a mutt as possible.

First question: Do any of you still have a link to the original eBay auction, when the thing was still whole? I couldn't find it in the eBay sub-forum, but would like to have a look to see which parts will be needed.

Thanks! A pity that the photos are gone. I have understood, however, that it had a maple banana neck. That is going to be a very tricky one to pull off.

Ahh, I must have misunderstood then, but that makes a lot more sense for a 86-87 Kramer! Still a difficult find but not nearly as difficult, I would think.
