Found locally from a guy on F*c*Book.
The pictures look like he sanded the shit out of the body and changed all the contours. He was amendment that he had not but no one would believe him. Since he was local I knew I could see before I bought.....

It was all in the crappy finish that he had done to it.

So after a quick Florida vacation to visit resident paint specialist and all around forum good guy Heinz with specific instructions to do with it whatever he wanted.....

It arrived back here Tuesday. It was time to give it a thorough cleaning and rebuild.

Starting with the trick taught to me by Full Crib.

Next some ever important TEFB from Ameriturk

The pickup it came with (EMG81) went to Cousin Jimmy- who forced me to install it in the JK1000 I bought from Moshpit. So it was time for a nice new Alnico II from Seymour Duncan.

Yes Kramer faithful I know the pickup ring is not right. I thought I had a spare in the drawer but was mistaken.

I couldn't see installing a new pickup with shitty electronics so in went a new jack, all new Teflon wiring, and a really nice pot that I bought a batch of from the goat farmer. He has a shit load of these in case anyone is interested. They are much nicer than any of the new pots I have found for sale- including the EVH and SD supposed high end stuff.

Next it was time to clean and lemon oil the neck which is in great shape. Just needed some shine laid to it.

So this is as far as I have got for now. I am taking a break while doing a complete tear down and cleaning of the Original Floyd Rose to post these pictures.

A quick final tease.

I have the Tremsetter slotted block plate and Tremsetter itself if needed to do a restore if needed..I can send out to you anytime.
