I would seriously consider rescuing that beast and restoring it and allowing the seller to pay me for my services. Why would anyone buy such a "modded" machine for unmolested minty prices?

BTW. What the hell is going on with that middle pickup?? :bong

Kremark: if the price was something like $200, that would at least make a little bit of sense, although financially nonsensical - it would require almost a full re-build. As is, the guy is just another basket case seller on LSD - IMO of course.

The body might have been some sort of pacer, but those huge wrong back covers are giving me eye cancer.

I've often LOL'd at this. It was even better in previous auctions, when the text was pink (there is a parenthesis and a full stop that is still pink). And if I recall correctly the seller claimed to be in his fifties and selling this because he had moved on to do jazz exclusively.

What on earth has he done with the excess holes? Did he expand a hole to accommodate the full-size pickup switch?!

I think WTF sums up this pretty well.
