Well today I got a new too me guitar. An all original 1986 Focus 1000 in black.
I was going to buy it for a good price, but sadly it was broken in shipping. So I got it for FREE! Nothing a little glue cant fix.
This guitar could be used in a cool project. Maybe I will do a swirl paint job on this in the summer.
I am open to suggestions.




Good lesson for everyone to remember. Always DE-TUNE a guitar when you ship it.

Nice snag .

Pointies are prone to break at that exact point when they get whacked. De-tuning wouldn´t have helped here .

Detuning does not help. They always break there if not packaged properly, especially when in a non-contoured case and hitting the walls during some upside-down action.

I always ask the seller to stuff the case full of bubble foil or paper scraps, so the axe can't move and tumble inside and the headstock is somewhat fixed.
