Hi everyone! I was under the name Dodkrone on the old forum.

I tried to stop by there recently to find out what exactly went in to the 2013 giveaway guitar and didn't come up with much unfortunately. Would any of you veterans remember? I also see Jeffincle is still here, and I think he would know most since I think he had it before me.

Also, while I'm here, I might as well inform you of my project. I got a translucent green Pacer Imperial body from someone a couple years ago and decided to put it together with the parts from the 83' Voyager whose body broke in shipment. I used different pickups, though, since I had to sell those when I was going through financial trouble. I put in a Dimarzio SD and a FRED. I'm just waiting for the studs and brass block to come in for the FR and I'm done! :^)

Oh he didn't sell it to me. I won it in a second drawing for it on the last forum. He wouldn't blaspheme; he's a good dood. 8)

Speaking of blasphemy, though, would it be okay with you forum guys if I put a brass block in it? I want to leave it as original as possible, but I think a brass block would really help the sound and wouldn't be too invasive.

I'll have to post some pics when the Blindworm I was building is done! It sat around 90% done for a couple years and I recently dropped it off at the Blindworm shop for him to finish it for me.

Also, here are some pics:

Very good looking. The brass block wouldn´t do any damage to the guitar as it is. It shouldn´t be treated like a fetish imo :roll .

And it´s your guitar anyways shrug . It has to suit your needs and serve your and your purposes only.

I wouldn't worry about it, the 2015 giveaway now has a later tremolo arm fitted, with the collar, because the screw in arm kept getting loose. Originality is one thing but it has to work for you. :thumbs

I think this build is only going to be temporary, though. I'm gonna try and put the whole Voyager back together and find a neck for this body. With that in mind: what year does this Pacer body look like? If I decide to find a used American neck I'm wondering what kind I should look for.
