Ah, Shane. That brings back some memories. Decent, big-hearted and funny as hell.

And what he really couldnĀ“t stand was sloppy use of english grammar and spelling :mrgreen .

Some of his highlights. I really miss him.

Shane's oldest son was a bruiser...I think he posted it on the ole KF after it all went down. Shame, the old site is down; we had many hysterical PM's and some phone calls I wish I could have saved. I, too, was aggravated by grammar, but he made an art of it. He was a great character and went out with dignity. We can't forget him; he was a top notch man. Lisa told me he had the KF up when time was winding down...it gave him peace. Bruce, correct me if I'm wrong.

Thinking about you, Shane.

I talked with him about 2 weeks before and we had a long conversation about a lot of things really. Damn he was funny though.

I remember his sister reached out to a few folks on the old KF and we spoke briefly about her and her brother's Alma Mater, Auburn University but she mostly was appreciative of the people that provided a real connection and outlet for Shane. Bruce seemed to be the true ambassador b/n the Kramer family and Shane's family. I am sure Lisa would love to hear that you folks are still thinking about Shane and family. :angel

He was a nice guy indeed. Definitely a sense of humor as well.

Only had a few conversations with him via private messages. IIRC our sons were about the same age and both involved in football so we shared the "Proud Dad" thing.

It's really a cool thing that he had such a connection with the KF and it's members and that so many remember him fondly. I'm sure he's smiling down on everyone each time he is remembered.
