You know.
Fender/Jackson should sue Gibson on the grounds that in a smokey bar you would not be able to tell this guitar from a Jackson Randy Rhoads Roswell guitar.

That was a joke. That was the reason Gibson used to sue PRS for the Single Cut. Gibson lost that law suit of course.

Sad they are ripping off Jackson. I would rather have the Jackson RRR. It was cool and unique.

Look at that Les Paul Custom Boogie Van. Looks like the 1980's Kramer bent pipes graphic.

That Chinese year of the dog LP is UGLY! They want $6,699.00.
ARE YOU FNG KIDDING ME!

The only thing more ridiculous than the guitars is the prices.

I guess what's old is new again, but it is surprising how they appear to have opened themselves up to some potential obvious trademark infringement issues, that is if anybody cared to pursue it. I actually sorta dig that Roswell shape. No way I would ever pay that much for a guitar, but it could be fun to try and make one and see how close you could come - looks pretty straightforward.

And looks not withstanding about the Chinese New Year guitar, I bet that thing will double or triple in value after they stop production - many Chinese people have a lot of disposable cash, and in general they favor and take great pride in the traditional colors of red and gold. Shit, the Billie Joe Armstrong guitars are shooting up and most punk rockers don't even have money, but some Chinese people do! Somebody at Gibson was using their head on that one. They will need the money to pay lawyers after they get sued by Star Trek and BA Barracus!

It's a product for collectors. Also those custom metal parts will inflate the price, it's understandable.

You want it more expensive? Check out the Musicman Nomac Petrucci model, starting price is $10k :yikes
