Always 500k with normal (non-active) humbuckers, unless you want to reduce the high end. Lower pot values will cut off highs, that's why you go with 250k for single coils. Gibson sometimes used 300k in some LP models, dunno why.

I see a ton of these popping up on eBay lately. Very tempted.

My only concern is the very thin neck. Other than that, I'm all in.

Yeah, I've been watching the black one that's kind of beat up at 500 OBO. Every time it comes up, LOL.

Someone get that, and I'll trade some paint jobs to you for it, LOL... :roll

Those necks are hard as a rock and pretty much the easiest neck to pley *ever*. I only sold mine due to the short scale, being used to Strats with 25.5". Also the kahler has a huge trem arm and a bit higher from the body, which feels awkward to me.

All that aside, it is one of the most beautiful guitar designs ever.

I´ve bought one for a member of the old place here in Germany in 2015. It was red, it was hot, it was near mint and that neck gave me serious shivers. Wasn´t easy to only be the middle-man in that deal, I can tell you.
