I have exactly the same. Those are really great + neck profile is thinner on the first series. Kahler Killer is amazing too as you can adjust de saddles height independantly. I like original pickups in there also. :headbang

Fantastic guitar! What's the serial number on it? I have #1825 sitting in the case in the living room, though it has a JB and SSL-6 in it. Let me know if you would be willing to part with the original pickups, as I have always wondered what they sounded like. Mine did not have them when I got it years ago, from an old KFer no less.

Serial is 747. I plan to throw in the original Pickups so they are not for sale/trade. The trem was blocked by the previous owner, needs a complete setup (and 1 trem post out of my spare parts).

Great guitars, I had a black S2 that I recently sold, regretted it straight away :lame That's why I now have a red S1 on its way to me :headbang

I didn't think you would part with them, but I had to ask. Don't get many opportunities to get an original set of pickups for one of these. Sounds like you have all the bases covered. Good score!
