As stated many times; I need new guitars like a hole in the head. Saw the auction @ $96 with a minute left and threw a $103 bid not expecting a win...

Oh well shrug

Chinese. Low action. Light. Never heard of a Tremel-no before this. At least I know this one will never become pieces parts.

The tremol-no alone costs more new than you paid for that axe :thumbs .

The mechanism is pretty nifty but it always comes to love-it or hate-it. Imo there´s nothing in-between shrug . I like them.

Hey Christian, have you tried the Rockinger black box?

A great snag there, Lefty. :headbang

Rockinger black box is just a normal spring-based stabilizer, always worked fine for me. Works even better when you use two of them in a guitar, Ibanez actually had the "double" version with two springs before they invented the ZR system. Those go for like $100 used nowadays :yikes

Tremol-no is fine too, its only problem is that you will eventually lose those thubscrews if you're working it a lot through different modes on stage. When they're loosened, they tend to unscrew and fall out in the "heat of the battle".
