Looking for a claw neck, will buy or trade. Right handed, reverse or regular doesn’t matter, just that it takes an r2. Not real picky on condition, most likely will re fret anyway.

Thanks!

Good luck! I'd sell the one you sold me, but it is now happily paired with a Sustainer body! :)

I'm still happy with the one I bought from you, too.

I wish I'd kept all the ones I sold. Wasn't a fan of the neck profile, but they look cool as shit.

I agree completely. These necks are too thick although the fretboard radius is really nice.

Wait, aren't the late neck profiles thinner than the earlier ones? I might have been lucky, but that has been my experience. (Admittedly, my experience doesn't reach further back than the 1985 models, and plenty of people have played more axes than me.)

Are all the claw necks thicker? I’ve never actually played a stage master but I’ve been waiting for the right one to come along. Is the neck thick? I was under the impression the later necks were thinner. I’ve seen claw neck Proaxe’s, are those thicker too?

Claw necks look cool but for me they are chunkier than the normal dot inlay ones, not a fan myself either!
Stagey necks are different & more akin to the dot inlay profile!

That's the only reason I got rid of my Stagemaster. Claw necks have beefier shoulders. I hated to dump it, but if it doesn't get played, no reason keeping it around.
