Hi all,

New to the forum, I snagged that piece yesterday within hours of it posting. Not much info on these out there, but given what I' have manage to learn has come primarily from these forums, thought I should log in and answer any questions. Was not looking for a Kramer on CL, but it seemed such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. Will try to answer any questions or pic requests posted, but some things you might find key given what I've learned online:

- F prefix serial number (Fxxxx)
- Original Floyd Rose in gold (surprisingly good shape; no rust, but obviously has lost some luster over 30 years)
- Pickups I'm uncertain of, have not taken the guitar apart nor done my usual cleaning/setup work as it's Monday and I'm working. From the sound of the bridge I'd guess Duncan JB given how easy the harmonics jump out, but the mounting ring for the pickup has the 3 hole arrangement that would indicate Schaller pickups (from the Vintage Kramer site: http://www.vintagekramer.com/parts9.htm )
- Missing the back trem cover, but the screw hole arrangement has the center holes on either side offset, which would seem to be one more confirming factor of a US origin

That's the high level info; let me know if I can provide anything further that will help, and I'll post more as I get her cleaned up throughout the week.

Kongratz on the sweet score!
Yeah those 3 hole rings are schaller. Kramer always tried to be thrifty so they always used up as much old stock as they could. Many SD pups with schaller rings out there.

Welcome to the forum. :toast

Ok guys, started to work on her over lunch here today. Intonation work is done, now cleaning up. Appears the bridge humbucker is definitely a Seymour Duncan, though what type is indeterminate. Like I said earlier, sounds like JB to me, and most of the research I've done highlights that as the likeliest candidate. The Schaller rings that threw me off appear to have been explained by SixString in this thread (thanks!)Image
