Has been around the block a couple times. Just take the sander out and get to it like on any other fiddle where you do not like the finish - it might take you a little longer, though :roll .

Depending on the finish used, maybe nitro thinner could clean it off (the original polyester does not dissolve in it).

The "finish" actually looks like vomit...

There was a Kramer employee who made such guitars... a "headless" voyager exists with a similar finish.


A chemical stripper such as Peel Away would potentially work, though at $800, you can fin quite a few lightning bolt Voyager Standards for almost half price.
