This guy has tried buying guitars from me before. He is one of those people who comes up with a lowball offer and then writes you a novel on why he thinks his price is correct. Then you do a search and see that he is selling the same guitar in worse condition for double your asking price.
He also bid on an auction of mine and said it was being shipped to Florida. When I first saw his bid i notified him that there was no international shipping, he said no problem it’s going to Florida. After he won, he of course asked me to switch to shipping to London.
So yes, this guy is one of those. He probably bought this guitar for $150, haggling the seller, telling them it’s a cheap import model, then makes up some bullshit and puts it up for $1300 saying it’s custom shop.

These selling sites need to have a bullshit button! :roll
Call out the scamming sellers.

They do, it's called the "Report Listing" button.

Problem with that is, a lot of noobs go on VK or FB and get wrong information, or don't understand the information, and report listings that are legit. Or they report listings out of spite.

Regardless of the listing it is up to the buyer to do their due diligence. I'm sure someone sees the listing title and gets all hot and wet about a score. But, as Joe says, the information is out on the Web. But, it's not just out there for the seller but the buyer as well. Caveat Emptor!

Looking at their FB page, they may be just a bit misinformed. They have two Gibson Zakk Wylde LPs, one camo and one white/black, a black beauty LP, a LP Studio, a Hummingbird, a J-45, some really nice amps...

Really the problem is more a Kramer anomaly than anything. There were a few true GL prototypes that TommyGuitars had, and the configuration is H-S. And I think one was even purple burst. Of course those had Soloist style bodies, circular control route, and reverse Grail headstocks.

But what are we gonna do?! Yell and scream at every single idiot out there? It's so difficult to confirm originality with almost any Kramer guitar. There are some clues to look for, but without records, work orders, true registries, it's a crap shoot at least a quarter of the time. I can't even tell you how many cool Kramers I've tuned down buying because I didn't "trust" it.
