I hate how the neck mounts to the body in the front

Yeah something about this model just looks wrong; and I cannot put my finger on what it is.

Maybe it is just how the neck seats like you said?

The 'American Showster' is just Kramer speak for made in Korea....is it not? Everything from the tuning machines to the double-letter serial on the neck plate screams Striker. Can anyone verify where these were made?

Overpriced 4x...

Savant is MIK, all of them. But the woods used were good and thus it sounds and plays like a US model. Nothing like Strikers. Real Floyd, Duncan pups, rock maple neck and red alder body with a metal rod inside for added sustain.

The only bad and stupid thing about them is the neck joint, they made a very thin and ergonomic body and then they made the neck joint as blocky and thick as possible. Just stupid, the access to high positions is even worse than on a pointy pacer.

Other than that I love the looks, to me it's one of the nicest looking Kramers ever made. I had one in blue but sold it eventually, since I *do* play solos beyond the 15th fret...

Defo something different from the norm...and that's kool!!
Maybe if they had angled the neck joint it would've had easier access. shrug

It's not only thick, but also one fret lower than usual. It ends before the 16th fret instead of 17th as usual on other bolt-ons. Double eff-up.

I agree with this exactly,i just cant get on with the top part of the body and all the hardware and back of the neck just looks cheap..... vomit

I know this is cheaper version sf plate,it seems designed amd looks way cooler and more ergonomic then the showster, not sayin better quality, but deff cooler and easier acess to higher frets,as i too like to get low on the high notes.

Plus it looks like a thinner swan, but i know its just a cheap korean knockoff, but i stand by a better design and looks.

Anyways feel free to bash it,lol

(Or is it a illusion and its the same body and im old and need glasses??? :bang
