Of course, I was eye fu*king this like the rest of us. If it was an R2, then I would be all over this. I already have the R5 version, so I'm not in the market. Since we like to collect data on here, I would like to point out some interesting facts about these necks. The R5 version has a volute that looks like the '87-'89 F-thousand's series guitars. Probably because of the wider nut spacing. They also lack the "Kramer" inlay at the 12th fret. I enclosed some pics for reference. Years ago, there was a Baretta in Ohio on CL that had a maple bound R2 neck. I should have saved some pics of that one, but I wasn't collecting data back then. I wonder what happened to that guitar. I haven't seen it since.

Mine. And yes, the R5 maple necks were 3-piece necks. There was a thread on here a while ago where members weren't sure if the pointy maple R-5 were one piece or not.
