Always love that guy's playing and how he appeared to represent integrity within what appeared to become a band atmosphere characterized by crass commercialism. At least that's how it seemed, but maybe I'm projecting my imagination onto it. He's on tour now, actually playing next month at a very small club down the street, so would be cool if I could get out for that.
In addition to the $50 price of admission, you can pay extra for a meet-and-greet and photo op, and you are allowed to bring YOUR OWN guitar for Ace to sign. Cost: additional $500. I guess it's worth it from some perspectives, but it seems weird.https://squareup.com/store/ace-frehley/item/berkeley-ca-guitar-signature-package
